Generally, a closed waterproof motor is used in the cooling tower, which can operate for a long time in outdoor humid and high temperature environments. The cooling tower motor material is cast iron and aluminum shell.
Derived from one of the most rugged motor platforms used in the most demanding industrial applications, direct drive motors are the right solution for operation in hot and humid environments in towers. Direct drives are ideally suited for cooling towers, air-cooled condensers and air-cooled heat exchangers.
