Guide Rings

Guide ring, also called wear ring, is a kind of sealing ring for piston or piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder, maintaining sealing contact between a piston and cylinder bore, supporting piston or piston rod movement parts, it can help prevent pressurized hydraulic fluid within the cylinder from leaking, lower the direct contact and friction, protecting the cylinder body and piston or piston rod from wearing. Guide rings are commonly used for the material of polyformaldehyde.
