4. About FAW:
China First Automobile Group Corporation, referred to as "China FAW" or "FAW", is a state-owned super large automobile production enterprise. FAW is headquartered in Changchun City, Jilin Province, formerly known as the first automobile manufacturing plant, and Chairman Mao Zedong inscribed the name of the plant. FAW laid the foundation in 1953, completed and put into operation in 1956, and manufactured the first Jiefang Truck in New China. In 1958, the first Dongfeng sedan and the first Hongqi limousine in New China were manufactured. The completion of FAW has created a new history of China's automobile industry. After more than 50 years of development, FAW has become one of the largest automobile enterprise groups in China.
